  • Law kf conservation states that matter can neither be created nor be destroyed.
  • A balanced chemical equation consists of equal number of atoms on both the sides of the equation and follows the law of conservation of matter.
  • If balanced equations are not used then it represents that the law of conservation of matter will be violated because there will be unequal number of atoms on both sides of the reaction which would be incorrect.
