Answer:concept :- the distance between nucleus and orbital increases, effective nuclear charge decreases .

increasing order of effective nuclear charge

s > p > d > f for same quantum number

(i) 2s and 3s

2s - orbital experience larger effective nuclear charge than 3s - orbital ,because 2s is closer than 3s to the nucleus.

(ii) 4d and 4f

similarly , 4d- orbital experience larger effective nuclear charge than 4f - orbital.

(iii) 3d and 3p

similarly , 3p - orbital experience larger effective nuclear charge than 3d - orbital.
