Answer:

\huge\mathcal{\pink{answer = 4.1 \: \: ampere}}

by using the formula of power.

p = v \times i

 \frac{p}{v}  = i

i = \:  \frac{1000}{24}

i = 4.1 \: ampere

The current will be 4.1 ampere

1) Power = Voltage * Current

2) Power = (Current)^2 * Resistance

Using 1st formulae to find the current.

Power = Voltage * Current
1000 = 240 * Current
Current = 1000/240
Current = 4.1667 Ampere.

Using 2nd formulae to find the resistance.

Power = (Current)^2 * Resistance
1000 = (4.1667 * 4.1667) * Resistance
1000 = (17.3614) * Resistance
Resistance = 1000/17.3614
Resistance = 57.6 ohm.
