2. Answer the following questions:

Two mirrors A and B are placed at right angles to each other as shown in Figure.

A ray of light incident on mirror A at an angle of 25° falls on mirror B after
reflection. Find the angle of reflection for the ray reflected from mirror B,​

According to the attachment, we can see that when the normal ray makes an angle with the second mirror then the angle is 90°.

Now Since angle of incidence = Angle of Reflection. Thus angle C + Angle E + Angle D = 180°

Now, 25° + 90° + D = 180 °

D = 180° - 125° = 65°

Thus the reflected ray will incident at 65° on mirror B and this will be same for angle of reflection on mirror B.
