(1) the three states having black soil at Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra .
the crops which are mainly grown in
it are cotton, tobacco and sugarcane
(2) alluvial soil is found in the river
deltas on the eastern coast.
Three features of alluvial soil;
(1) alluvial soils are very fertile.
(2) they are ideal for growing
sugarcane ,wheat and paddy.
(3) the region of alluvial soil areintensively cultivated and densely populated.
(3) following steps are taken to control the soil erosion in hilly areas.
(1) control ploughing this refers ploughing along contour lines.
(2) terrace farming construction of step along the hilly areas by cutting Rock layer to reduced the follow of rivers.
(3) plugging of gullies to prevent gully erosion.
(4) biotic resource; the resources which are obtained from the biosphere and have life are called biotic resources for example animals and plants including human beings etc..
abiotic resource the resource which are composed of non living thing are called abiotic resource for example water mineral metals wind solar energy etc.
