No, there is no other expression which is put in inverted commas other than 'No go'. In my opinion the poet has done so because he wanted to emphasize the phrase. "No go" means no travelling on no locomotion, in simple, no socializing.if you say in inverted commas after a word or phrase, you are indicating that it is inaccurate or unacceptable in some way, or that you are quoting someone else. They're asked to make objective, in inverted commas, evaluations of these statements
