Answer: Arul=11hrs Ravi=22hrs Ram=33hrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Arul done work in x hrs

In one hr = 1/x

Ravi done work in y hrs

In one hr = 1/y

Ram done work in z hrs

In onr hr = 1/z

Work done together= 1/x + 1/y + 1/z = 1/6  ....... 1

Ravi takes twice as long to clean the store as Arul does

                1/y = 1/2x

                2x-y= 0 ...... 2

Ram needs three times as  long as Arul does

                1/z = 1/3x

                3x-z= 0 ...... 3

Substituting 2 and 3 in 1

                  1/x + 1/2x + 1/3x = 1/6

On solving

                  x= 11 ........4

Substituting 4 in 2 and 3

                  y= 22

                  z= 33

Answer:

Arul, Ravi and Ram would take 11 hrs, 22 hrs and 33 hrs respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the time taken by Arul, Ravi, Ram to clean the store be “x”, “y” and “z” respectively.

From Given, y=2x, z=3x

Let “w” be the quantum of work to be done to clean the store.

Therefore, Work done by Arul, Ravi, Ram in 1 hr be “1/x”, “1/2x” and “1/3x” respectively.

1/x + 1/2x + 1/3x =1/6

(6+3+2)/6x = 1/6

11/6x = \1/6

66 = 6x

x = 66/6

x = 11 hrs

y = 2x = 2*11 = 22 hrs

z = 3x = 3*11 = 33 hrs
