Power of Arun > Power of Kiran

Given ,

  • Arun can run at a speed of 8m/s against frictional force of 10N
  • Kiran can move with a speed of 3 m/ s against the frictional force of 25 N

We need to find ,

  • Who is more powerful = ?

So we need to find the power of arun & kiran

So ,

Power ( P ) = Force ( F ) × Velocity ( V )

Power of Arun :-

⇒ Power ( Arun ) = 10 × 8

Power ( Arun ) = 80 W

Power of Kiran :-

⇒ Power ( Kiran ) = 25 × 3

Power ( Kiran ) = 75 W

Now comparing , powers of arun & kiran :-

⇒ 80 W > 75 W

Power of Arun > Power of Kiran

To Find :-

  • Who is more Powerful ?

Solution :-

To Find who is more powerful , then firstly we have to find the Power applied by both, then easily we can compare them .

 \\

Power = Force × Velocity

 \\

⇛ Power applied by Arun = 10 × 8

⇛ Power applied by Arun = 80W

 \\

→ Power applied by Kiran = 25 × 3

Power applied by Kiran = 75W

If can be seen that Arun applied more power and Kiran applied less Power.

Therefore, Arun is more Powerful then Kiran.
