2 bulbs of rate 10w120v and 100 w 120v are connected in series. All are connected to 120v . Find the current through each bulb. Masters please answer. Don't copy from net. Plzz dove it.. it's urgent. Don't spam

Answer:

R1 = 120^2/10 = 1440 ohm

R2 = 120^2/100 = 144 ohm

as they are in series....... Req = R1 + R2 = 144 +1440 = 1584 ohm

So 10 watts bulb consume more energy because uses less power and also the amount o current flowing is less

Resistor (bulb) connected into series, so

R1+R2 = 1440+144=1584 ohm

Current = V/R1+R2 = 120/1584 = 0.075 A

current are not distribute into series connection, therefore current through each bulb is 0.075 A.
