Given two numbers,

 \frac{2}{3} \:\&\: \frac{4}{5}

First of all, make both the denominators same. Here, the first denominator is 3 and second denominator is 5. So, multiply both the numbers which a suitable number so that, the denominators should be equal.

We can multiply 5 to the first number and 3 to the second number so that both the denominators will be equal.

 (i) \frac{2 \times 5}{3 \times 5} = \frac{10}{15}

 (ii) \frac{4 \times 3}{5 \times 3} = \frac{12}{15}

And as we know, there lie infinite numbers between any two numbers.

Here, the two new numbers are, \frac{10}{15} \:\&\: \frac{12}{15} . So, there must be infinite numbers lying between these two numbers. You can write any of them.

The rational number lying between \frac{10}{15} \:\&\: \frac{12}{15} is

 \frac{11}{15} .
