2/3(y-5)-1/4(y-2)=9/2

cross multiplication

2(2-1)=9[{3(y-5)}-{4y-8}]

4-2=9[{3y-15}-{4y-8}]

2=(27y-135)-(36y-72)

2=27y-135-36y+72

2=-9y-63

9y=-63-2

9y=-65

y=-65/9

hope it helps u

Answer:

y = 62

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{2}{3} (y - 5) -  \frac{1}{4 }  (y - 2) =  \frac{9}{2}   \\  \\ 2y - 10 - y + 2 =  \frac{9 \times 3 \times 4}{2}  \\  \\ y - 8 = 54 \\ y = 54 + 8 \\ y = 62
