Let c.p be x

s.p = 1275

The c.p is,

==> x-(x × 15/100) = 1275

==> x- 15x/100 = 1275

==> 85x = 127500

==> x = 127500/85 => 1500

☆If he sells at 10% profit

==> 1500 + (1500×10%) => 1500+150=> 1650

Answer:

Let CP be x

SP = Rs.1275

Then CP is,

=> x - (x × 15/100) = 1275

=> x - 15x/100 = 1275

=> 85x = 127500

=> x = 127500/85 = 1500

If he sells at 10% profit,

1500 + (1500×10%) = 1500+150 = 1650.

Answer. He should sell the watch at Rs.1650
