In parellel arrangement
Equivalent resistance = (R₁ × R₂)/(R₁ + R₂)
= (1 Ω × 1 Ω) / (1 Ω + 1 Ω)
= 0.5 Ω
∴ Equivalent resistance = 0.5 Ω
