hii mate!!

Distance travelled in 'n' hours is Sn.

In the series of AP
a=6      d=1

Let the cars meet at 'n' hours
Thus,
12n = Sn
12n= n/2(2a+(n-1)d)
24 = 2a+(n-1)d
24 = 2(6) + (n-1)1
24 = 12 + n - 1
n = 13 hours

hope it helps ☺☺☺
