Answer:Haloalkanes give alkene when heated with alcoholic potassium hydroxide , Dehydrohalogenation reaction.The formation of more substituted alkene will be favored. So, when we 2- bromobutane is heated with alcoholic KOH we will get major yield of But-2ene and minor yeild of But-1-ene.
