The Satellites that was launched by India..

India has launched 118 satellites since 1975. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is responsible for India’s Space Program. In February 2017, ISRO has created a new record by launching 104 satellites in one go. Out of these 104 satellites, only 3 of these were Indian Satellites. These were launched by Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) - C37 on 15th February 2017.

Helping in weather forcasting :

Satellite data help forecast the weather in two ways: expert forecasters interpret the images, and numerical weather-prediction models assimilate observations. Image analysis plays an important role in short-term forecasts, those that predict the weather in one to three hours into the future.

Helping in communication :

Satellites communicate by using radio waves to send signals to the antennas on the Earth. The antennas then capture those signals and process the information coming from those signals. Information can include: ... where the satellite is currently located in space.

Hope it helps...
