essay on upgrading technology in compact phones.
The assignments were self-paced. The use of technology motivated students to want to achieve higher by making the students feel in control of what they were learning. Karekha Ramey, a graduate from the University of London and knowledge in Human Resources and Information Systems stated that “Online education is flexible and affordable, students can attend classrooms during their free time, and they can also have a chance to interact with other students virtually (Ramey).” Without the expenses of on-campus housing and the ability of self-paced work, makes online classes so much better. Another example, is my Physiology class, where most of the learning is done outside of the classroom. We’re easily prepared for lecture times in class, by doing the online homework assignments prior to beginning a new topic, so that we are more familiar with the information and it becomes more of a review, rather than learning new unfamiliar information. Students tend to enjoy working with technology because computers are patient in comparison to humans. Computers are able to better explain information when there is a misunderstanding between certain objectives. Student are able to understand the knowledge when educational programs like McGraw Hill Connect, where it gives you a step by step break down of a concept that a student cannot seem to grasp.
DISPLAY
Display devices are peripheral equipment that contain a television like viewing screen. Most display devices fall into one of two categories: monitors and display terminals. A monitor is an output device that consists of only the viewing screen.
A display terminal is typically an input/output “communications workstation” that includes the screen (for output) and an attached keyboard (for input).
PROCESSOR
A central processing unit (CPU) is the hardware within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetical, logical, control and input/output operations of the system. The term has been in use in the computer industry at least since the early 1960s. The form, design, and implementation of CPUs have changed over the course of their history, but their fundamental operation remains much the same.
RAM
RAM (Random Access Memory) is the hardware in a computing device where the operating system (OS), application programs and data in current use are kept so they can be quickly reached by the device's processor. RAM is the main memory in a computer, and it is much faster to read from and write to than other kinds of storage, such as a hard disk drive (HDD), solid-state drive (SSD) or optical drive.
OS
The operating system of a computer is the most basic program in a computer. All computers have an operating system that among other things is used for starting the computer and running other programs (application programs). The operating system performs important tasks like receiving input from the keyboard and mouse, sending information to the screen and keeping track of filesType of Computer operating systems include: MS Windows 2000 / ME / XP MS DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System) UNIX (originally for mainframes, but now available in versions for mid range and personal computers) CP /M (the predecessor of MS DOS)The operating system is necessary to be run in the PC, when the computer is switched on, the operating system boots up from the hard disk.
