ANSWER

1. If heat is added to water, it evaporates. Evaporation turns liquid water into a gas called water vapor. If heat is taken away from water vapor, it condenses. Water vapor condenses into millions of tiny droplets that form clouds.

2. Evaporation and cloud formation in a large place takes place in those areas which are near to water bodies like the sea, ocean, pond, lake etc. As the sun rays fall on them, water evaporates and starts moving up in the air.

3. Clouds are collection of water vapours that are created when sun evaporates water from different water bodies like sea, river and oceans. It is possible for clouds to travel to inlands too using wind. The direction of wind blowing for some kilometers say 1000km can bring rains to inlands.
