➤ Correct Question :-

Construct a ∆ABC, in which BA = 4.5 cm, ∠B = 45° and BC = 2.5 cm

\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, we should draw the line segment BA measuring 4.5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on point B and draw a ray measuring 45°.
  • Then, take a compass and measure it as 2.5 cm and cut an arc on the ray drawn.
  • Then, join the point A to the arc drawn.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Scale :- Scale is used to draw the line segments of the correct measurements and the drawn line should always be in straight way.
  • Protractor :- Protractor is used to draw the lines of correct measurements of degree. Here, it's used to draw the ray from the point B.
  • Cómpass :- Coómpass is used to cut the arc on the ray drawn. Here, it's used to draw the arc on the ray.

More to know :-

  • While constructing the triangle always draw the base, for which line has greatest measurement.
  • Use ruler for accurate measurement and the construction should be as per to the question{.}

After drawing ΔDBC with BC=4.5cm, ∠B=45⁰and DB=8cm. The perpendicular bisector of DC is drawn and it intersects DB at A.

So, we get AC=AD

BD=8cm

⇒BA+AD=8cm

⇒AB+AC=8cm

Hence ΔABC is the required triangle.

I Hope It's Helpfull...!!
