Answer: Draw a line AB

Step-by-step explanation in the picture

NOTE : TAKE THE MEASUREMENT HOW MUCH YOU WANT ON THE COMPASS BUT SHOULD BE LESS THAN HALF OF THE MIDLLE OF THE LINE.

PLACE THE COMPASS ON 'A' AND DRAW AN ARC HAS SHOWN IN THE FIGURE 1.

Next place the compass on ( I really dont know how to say it so please in the picture.) And draw a small arc.

PLEASE ROTATE THE PHOTO WHILE LOOKING.

When we draw the small arc it has become a cross. The cross is 60' degree.

Place the compass on the cross mark then again draw a arc. So there will an another cross mark. That will be 120' degree.(look at the picture.

Then again from the 60'degree cross mark draw a small arc up as shown in the figure.

Then place the compass on 120' degree and draw an arc such that there will be a cross mark( look at the picture). This cross mark is 90' degree.

Now draw a small straight line from the 90' degree cross mark( till it reaches the big arc). When the line line is drawn there will form a cross mark .

Place the compass on that cross mark ( 90' cross mark that we drawn down a straight line which meet big arc and form a cross mark)

And draw an arc to the right.

Again place the compass shown in figure 2and draw an arc to the upright which will meet the arc that we draw before and become a cross mark.

THAT CROOSMARK IS 45' DEGREE.

TAKE A SCALE AND DRAW A STRAIGHT LINE FROM THE POINT A TO THE 45' DEGREE ARC.

I THINK YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD THIS .

IT TOOK ME SO MUCH TIME TO WRITE THESE THINGS

SO , YOU BETTER UNDERSTAND IT.

PLEASE.
