a- 25/5= k-273/5

cross multiplication

25×5=(k-273)5

125= 5k- 1365

5k= 1365-125

5k = 1240

k= 1240/5

k=248

b-373/5=k-273/5

cross multiplication

373×5= (k-273)5

1856= 5k - 1365

5k= 1365-1856

5k= -491

k=-491/5
