To convert Celsius into kelvin we have to add it by 273 degree

1. 373 + 273 = 646 K

So 373 degree is 646 Kelvin.

2. 25 + 273 = 298 K

So 25 degree is 298 Kelvin.

Answer:

Converted the following temperatures to the Kelvin scale.

(b) 373^0C = 646.15K

(a) 25^0C = 298.15K

Explanation:

  • If T_Kis the temperature on the Kelvin scale and T_Cis the temperature on the Celcius scale, we can use the following equation to convert a temperature on the Celcius scale to the temperature on the Kelvin scale.

        T_{K}=T_{C}+273.15         ...(1)

  • From question(b),

       T_C = 373^0C

       Substitute the above value into equation (2)

       T_{K}=373+273.15

             =646.15 K

  • In question (a), it is given that,

       T_C = 25^0C

       Substitute the above value into equation (1)

       T_{K}=25+273.15

             =298.15K
