3. (1) If a man takes 3 min to walk down a street 258 m long, find his speed in km/h.
(i) A car covers 300 m in 20 s. Find its speed in km/h.​

Answer:

2 (i) 30m/s =

30 \times 18  \div 5

=108 km/h

(ii) 10m/s=

10 \times 18 \div 5

=36 km/h

iii) 2.5 =

2.5 \times 15 \div 5

3(i) speed = time / distance

258/3 =86 m/min

86m/min=86/1000 / 1/60

=86/1000*60

258/50=129*4 /25*4 =5.16 km /h

(ii)speed=distance /time

300/20 = 15m/s

15*18/5 = 54km /h
