Required Answer:-

The surface area of resulting cuboid = 160cm²

Given :-

Volume of cube = 64cm³

To find :-

Surface area of resulting cuboid.

Solution :-

Volume of cube = 64cm³

Formula of volume of cube = (Edge)³

Therefore ,

(Edge)³ = 64cm

(Edge)³ = (4)³

Edge = 4m

When 2 cubes are joined together then

lenght = 4 + 4 = 8cm

breadth = 4cm

height = 4cm

Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(8×4 + 4×4 + 4×8)

= 2(32 + 16 + 32)

= 2(80)

= 160cm²

Therefore, Surface Area of cuboid = 160cm².
