Answer:

Volume of cube = 125 cu cm

a^3 = 125

a =  \sqrt[3]{125}

a = 5 cm

After joining the cubes, the resulting cuboid have following dimensions:

Length = 10 cm

Breadth = 5 cm

Height = 5 cm

Surface area of resulting cuboid

= 2 (lb+bh+hl)

= 2 (10x5 + 5x5 + 5x10)

= 2 (50+25+50)

= 2 (125)

= 250 square cm
