volume of cube =64 cm
side =cube root of 64
= 4 cm
side of another cube =4 as well
New length = 4+4=8
breath 4 cm
height 4cm
Surface area of cuboid =2 (lb +bh+lh)
2(8*4+4*4+8*4)
2 (32+16+32)
2 *80
160cm square

yashveeryadav: sir 4 intoo 4 16 hota hai so total surface area is come 160
RajaBose: slight silly mistake
RajaBose: thanks brother
yashveeryadav: its ok sir

Answer: 160cm².

Step by step explanation:

Given,

Volume of both cubes = 64cm³

Volume of one cube =a^3

⇒ 64 = a³

⇒ (4) = a³

⇒ a=4

We know that, when two cubes are joined they form cuboid.

Length of cuboid=4+4= 8cm

Breadth of cuboid= 4cm

Height of cuboid= 4cm

Surface area of cuboid=2(lb+bh+lh)

2(8×4+4×4+4×8)

= 2(32+16+32)

= 2(80)

= 160cm²

Therefore, Surface area of Cuboid is 160 cm².
