volume of one cube = a ^3

so volume =64 = 4 cube

side = 4 for both the squares

since they are joined together to form a cuboid

breadth= 4 cm

height=4 cm\

length = 8 cm

ew length of the figure(cuboid) = 4+4+4 =12

New  breadth = 4

New Height = 4

TSA = 2(lb +bh+lh)

       = 2( 48 + 16 +16)

       =160

Hence, answer is (c) 160cm^2

Answer: 160cm².

Step by step explanation:

Given,

Volume of both cubes = 64cm³

Volume of one cube =a^3

⇒ 64 = a³

⇒ (4) = a³

⇒ a=4

We know that, when two cubes are joined they form cuboid:

Length of cuboid=4+4= 8cm

Breadth of cuboid= 4cm

Height of cuboid= 4cm

Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)

2(8×4+4×4+4×8)

= 2(32+16+32)

= 2(80)

= 160cm²

Therefore, Surface area of Cuboid is 160 cm².
