According to given sum,

volume= 64cubic cm.

so, side= cube root of 64 = 4cm.

If two cubes are joined in end to end.

Then the dimensions of cuboid will be

length = 8cm

breadth=4cm

height= 4cms.

surface area = 2 (lb+bh+hl)

=> 2(8*4+4*4+4*8)

=> 2 (32+16+32)

=> 2 (80)

=> 160sq.cm

:-)Hope it helps u.

Hi there !!
Here's your answer

To find the surface area , we need the edges of each cube

So,
Let the edge be ' l '
Volume of each cube = 64cm³
We know,

Volume = l³
64 = l³

l =   \sqrt[3]{64}
l = 4cm

So,
if 2 cubes are joined end to end, then ,
the length will get doubled , the breadth and the height would remain the same

So,
dimensions of the new cuboid :
Length (l)= 4cm + 4cm = 8cm
Breadth (b) = 4cm
Height (h) = 4cm

Surface area of cuboid
= 2(lb + bh + lh )

= 2( 8cm × 4cm + 4cm × 4cm + 8cm × 4cm)

= 2(32cm² + 16cm² + 32cm²)

= 2(80cm²)

= 160cm²

Thus,
the surface area of resulting cuboid is 160cm²
