_____Here's your Answer.._____

Given;

Volume of Cube = 64cm^3

 =  >   {a}^{3}  = 64
 =  >  \: a \:  =  \sqrt[3]{64}
 =  >  \: a = 4
Now,

For Cuboid,

Length= 4 + 4 = 8cm.

Breadth = 4cm

Height = 4cm.

So,

Total Surface Area of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

=> 2( 8×4 + 4×4 + 4×8)

=> 2( 32 + 16 + 32)

=> 2 × 80

=> 160cm^2.

Answer: 160cm².

Step by step explanation:

Given,

Volume of both cubes = 64cm³

Volume of one cube =a³

⇒ 64 = a³

⇒ (4) = a³

⇒ a=4

To find: We have to find the Surface area of resulting cuboids.

We know that, when two cubes are joined they form cuboid:

Length of cuboid=4+4= 8cm

Breadth of cuboid= 4cm

Height of cuboid= 4cm

Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)

2(8×4+4×4+4×8)

= 2(32+16+32)

= 2(80)

= 160cm²

Therefore, Surface area of Cuboid is 160 cm².
