so, L³= 64, therefore L will be 4cm

since the 2 cubes are joined together, we will get a cuboid with the following values:     l = 4+4= 8cm

               b= 4cm and h= 4cm

now using the TOTAL SURFACE AREA(TSA) formula, we get the surface area of a cuboid:

area= 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2[8(4) + 4(4) + 8(4)]

= 2[32+16+32]

= 2[80]

= 160cm²
