and cost price be cp

sp1=cp(p%+100)/100------(1) (by formula) sp2=cp(100-L%)/100------(2) (by formula)

difference=sp1-sp2

sp1-sp2=200

by eq. 1 and 2

[cp(p%+100)/100]-[cp(100-L%)/100]=200

(cp*115/100)-(cp*90/100)=200

25cp/100=200

cp/4=200

cp=800

so the cost price of one cycle is Rs 800

verification:-

sp of profit of 15%=800+(800*15/100

sp ofprofit of 15%=800+120

sp of profit of 15%=920

sp of loss of 10%=800-(800*10/100)

sp of loss of 10%=800-80

sp of loss of 10%=720

differnce of sp=920-720

difference of sp=200

hence verified
