Explanation:

During photosynthesis, the plants keep their stomata open to allow the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide with the air. However, this also causes water to move out of the leaves by diffusion in a process called transpiration. This causes loss of water from the plants and a high rate of transpiration may cause the wilting of leaves in plants. So, transpiration and photosynthesis can be said to be a compromise in plants.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS:IN THIS PROCESS PLANT TAKES SUNLIGHT,CO2FROM AIR,WATER AND OTHER MATERIALS THROUGH ROOTS.DURING THE PROCESS PLANT RELEASE OXYGEN AND CO2.HENCE THE PROCESS OF MAKING FOOS BY SUNLIGHT IS CALLED PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

I

TRANSPIRATION:-IN THIS PROCESS WATER IS RELEASED BY MAKING VAPOUR IN THE PLANT.DURING DAYTIME ROOT ABSORBED WATER FROM ROOTS ,DUE TO SUNLIGHT WATER WAS LIGHTER,HENCE THE WATER REACHES THE LEAVES,FLOWERSAND TO AXIAL PART .DUE TO SUNLIGHT WATER EVAPOURATE FROM THE PLANT.SO THAT PLANT TO PREVENT TRANSPIRATION FALL THEIR LEAVES DURING SUMMER SEASON.
