Answer:

From the first equation of motion,

v=u+at

t=  a v−u ...........(i)

For a uniformly accelerated motion, Average velocity=  2 v+u ...........(ii)

Displacement=Average Velocity×Time

Substituting from (i) and (ii), s=(  2 v+u )×(  a v−u )

∴v  2 =u  2 +2as
