The non-green plants are Fungi like mushrooms, yeast, moulds, Penicillium etc. Non-green plants cannot make their own food because they do not have chlorophyll in their leaves which breaks down carbon dioxide and water molecules thus do not produce glucose(food). They cannot make their own food and usually absorb food from other plants, dead animals or stale food
