BUS TOPOLOGY - In this type of topology computers are connected to a single terminal. When any local computer tries to sent information, the terminal checks whether the line is free or not. If the line is free then the message is sent.

ADVANTAGES - If any computer fails the sending of messages or information does not stop.
〰️〰️〰️
DISADVANTAGES - This arrangement is very costly.

RING TOPOLOGY - In this type of topology computers are connected in a ring like structure.
〰️〰️〰️
ADVANTAGES - The information can flow in any direction i.e. either in the backward or forward direction.
〰️〰️〰️
DISADVANTAGES - If one computer fails, the flow of information stops.
