2 difference between coal and petroleum

Petroleum, or crude oil, and natural gas are important hydrocarbons that are found in nature within pores and fractures of rocks.There is a huge difference in formation of coal and oil as Coal is mainly formed from the plant leaf material, and is formed in low-lying wetlands and marshes.

coal : it is hard, can be change into diamond and its value increases
petroleum : it is liqiud , it get exhausted after its use
