fibres obtained through nature and natural resources are known as natural fibres.

Natural Fibres:

•Those fibers which are obtained from plants and animals are called natural fiberes

•During spinning process spinneret is not necessary.

•Chance of containing dust or impurities.

•Less durable than synthetic.

•Example : wood , cotton , jute , moonj , silk , etc

Synthetic Fibres :

•Those fibers which are made by human with chemicals are called artificial fibers.

•During spinning process spinneret is necessary for the production of filament

•No chance of any dust or impurities

•More durable than natural

•Example : Rayon , Dacron , Nylon , etc
