Khadar

The khadar soils are found in the low areas of the valley, bottom of a valley which are flooded every year.

Khadar is new alluvial soil. It has lower concentration of kanker nodules.

These soils are finer in texture.

Bhangar

●Bangar is old alluvial soil. 

●It has higher concentration of kanker nodules. 

The Bhangar soils are found in higher reaches, about 30 m above the flood level.

These soils are coarser in texture.
