Solution :

(x²-36)/(x²-49) ÷ (x+6)/(x+7)

= (x²-6²)/(x²-7²) × (x+7)/(x+6)

= [(x+6)(x-6)(x+7)]/[(x+7)(x-7)(x+6)]

[ By algebraic identity ,

a² - b² = ( a + b )( a - b ) ]

After cancellation, we get

= ( x - 6 )/( x - 7 )
