In my views first in efficiency petrol engine is best among all of them as you can use the petrol engine in colder region and higher regions also with out any problem but in diesel engine incomplete combustion take place and soot is formed so I don't think so diesel engine is a better option and now for electrical engine many problems are there like less efficient as if you charge battery it will work for few kilometer and huge time consumed charging these battery.
B) power you might have lean't the name Bugatti Vernon who is working in petrol engine and have 16 cylinders in it have highest HP in all the 4 wheel vehicles as it has about around 1000hp and these trucks who have diesel engine have mostly about 600hp in them and these electric motors have a quite nice amount of torque but less HP.
C) petrol engine have range in no. of cylinder like from 1 to 12 . 12 are lambo's and all and in Bugatti it is car having 2 engines 8 cylinder each.
And these trucks have limited amount of cylinder like 1 to 4 rarely about 6 so I think you got your answer
