Answer:

2)yes

3)diagonal =61

Step-by-step explanation:

2)

by pythagoras thorem

(hyp)²=(base)²+(prependicular)

as we know hyp is always greater than other sides of triangle

so in given data hyp =25

other sides base=24

               prependicular=7

by apply theorem

base²+prependicular²=7²+24²

                                    =49+576

                                    =625

                                     =(25)²

                                     =hyp²

hence proved that 7,24,25 can b sides of right triangle

3)as we know that diagonal of rectangle divides rectangle in two right triangles

 hyp=?

by pythagoras theorem

hyp²=base²+prependicular²

       =11²+60²

       =121+3600

       =3721

       =61²

hence hyp =61

length of diagonal  =61

Yes, we can form a right-angle triangle with the sides 7cm, 24cm, 25cm.,, by taking side 25cm as hypotenuse.

If a, b, c are the sides of right-angle triangle with side ‘c’ as hypotenuse., we can say that,

a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}

As, (7)^{2} + (24)^{2} = (25)^{2}

i.e., satisfying the condition., Therefore, we can say that it forms a right-angle triangle.

Hope this helps you......
