Atomic number of element is 26.

No. of electrons is = 23 + 3

EXPLANATION-

as element X had Ar + 5

but after oxidation which means removal of electron 3 electrons are removed so, remaining electrons

= X+3

so no. of electrons in X = 23 + 3 = 26

since,

no. of electrons = no. of protons = atomic number.

hence, atomic no. is 26

Hope it helps
