Answer:
n this story, ‘I’ is a very poor woman who dosen’t have a home )
It was a slightly sunny day with only a few clouds. I was sitting on the pavement, holding my makeshift sign, ‘Please give me money for food’ I was a little cold, with only some old, thin clothes and a flimsy blanket. I stayed still, very tired and hungry. I hugged myself, wishing it was all a dream. It wasn’t. Nobody had given me any money for days, and I was barely living on the few pounds I had. I felt awful, and rolled over shivering. At that moment, I noticed a man staring at me with what looked like concern. He looked extremely rich. He was standing at a corner, rummaging for something in his huge leather bag, all the while staring at me. I closed my eyes, feeling bad because of all his gold and leather and expensive things I could never afford. I heard a thump next to me, and I opened my eyes. What I saw, I couldn’t believe. It was a bottle of water and lots of notes of money in a small leather bag. I gasped and sat up, staring at the man in the corner. There was no one around except for him. I stood up and walked slowly towards him. He regarded me with curiosity. I reached him, and I shook hands with the man standing at the corner and said a big thank you with a big smile.
