Answer:
Zeolites
ZSM5
Explanation:
A catalytic reaction which depends upon the pore structure of the catalyst and on the size of the reactant and the product molecules is called shape selective catalysis.
EXAMPLES include:-
Zeolites-Zeolites have a rigid, 3-dimensional crystalline structure consisting of a network of interconnected tunnels and cages. Water and ions move freely in and out of these pores but the zeolites framework remains rigid. The pore and channel sizes are nearly uniform, allowing the crystal to act as a molecular sieve.
ZSM5-Structure of ZSM-5 contains two intersecting channel systems of specific shape which restrict molecular diffusion through the framework.
