() Overuse of pesticides should be avoided.
Bhola's field is ready with a mature wheat crop. List and explain the steps he
would have to undertake before selling the grains to the FCI (Food Corporation

Answer:

Weeds are very harmful for the plants because they retards the plant growth and also occupies too much space.

There are many weedicides applied by the farmers to kill those weeds

a)Excess water supply can damage crops because it causes water logging and soil may be ill drained and causes harmful effect. . if we overuse pesticides it may reduce the soil fertility and contaminate underground water.

b) If freshly harvested grains are stored without drying they may get spoilt or attacked by microorganisms, loosing their germination capacity.

c)Overuse of pesticides should be avoided because it goes into food chain and harm to living being . It also decrease fertility of soil. And crop may be acidic or become basic.

next ques.

HARVESTING.

●THRESHING.

●WINNOWING.

THEN CROPS WILL BECOME READY TO SELL FCI.

ques 2.Hybridization refers to a process which involves the combining of the different organism in terms of the trait to produce a hybrid.

The hybridization of seeds involves various steps which are:

1. Maintaining a pure line of plants with a selected trait.

2. Artificial pollination using the selected pollens of the plant with the desired trait over the stigma of the desired female trait.

3. This pollination ensures the mixing of genes for the traits and the cross are made.

4. Obtain the F1 and F2 progeny, select the desired seeds and grow them.

hope it helps you
