So present, studies on university-community partnerships have mostly neglected partnership potential and readiness prior to formation.LGUs, on the other hand, have larger financial resources than universities. Local universities were found to be uniquely qualified to address the technological and human resource requirements of local governments. However, previous partnership experience was considered to have a strong impact on both parties' decisions about whether or not to pursue a partnership.
