1. MICROSPOROGENESIS - reductional division occurs in the MICROSPORE MOTHER CELL to give rise to "4" Microspores.

2. ARRANGEMENT INTO A TETRAD - these microspores are then arranged into a TETRAD shape and further form different wall layers around them.

3. MITOTIS - now mitosis occurs inside the microsporangium to form many microspores or pollen grains.

4. ROUNDING OFF - these microspores now known as pollen grains undergo rounding, to get a circular shape and are then released in the atmosphere at the time of dehiscence.
