becoz atomic weight of hydrogen is less than that of oxygen as the nuclear force of attrac tion is more in oxygen

when solid melts , it turns into liquid and the particles becomes loosely packed

because the particles of air is loosely packes and therefore composes more area in the tyre and increases pressure
