Mixture:-

  • A substance which consists of two or more elements and have no fixed composition. for example:- sand and salt , sugar and salt. There is two types of mixtures:-
  1. Homogeneous mixtures .
  2. Heterogeneous mixtures.

Pure substance:-

  • A pure substance is a Homogeneous material consisting of a single type of particles and definite set of properties .For example:- Copper, oxygen , iron .

Suspension:-

  • It is a Heterogeneous mixtures. The solute particles are visible with naked eyes. for example:- Mixture of chalk powder or sand in water.
