first term = -43

common difference = -6

tn = a + (n - 1)d \\  \\ 104 =  - 43 + (n - 1) - 6 \\  \\ 104 =  - 43 - 6n + 6 \\  \\ 104 =  - 37 - 6n \\  \\ 141 =  - 6n \\  \\ n =  \frac{ - 141}{6 }  \\  \\ n =  - 23.5

  • Find the 104th term of AP -43, -37 , - 31 ...

{\huge{\bold{\purple{\bigstar{\boxed{\bf{Answer}}}}}}}

{\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{Given}}}}}

  • first term = a = -43
  • common diff. = d = +6
  • no. of times =n= 104

{\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{To\:find}}}}}

  • \bold{a_{104}}= ???

{\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{ Formulae\:used }}}}}

  • \bold a_n = a + (n-1)d

{\bold{\blue{\boxed{\bf{ Solution}}}}}

 a_{104} = -43 + (104-1)\times + 6

 a_{104} = -43 + 103 \times  +6

 a_{104} = -43 + 618

 a_{104} = +575
